“PLEASE ‘HOLD’ TO CHRIST!”

Please ‘hold’ to The One Who never changes ~ *
JESUS CHRIST ~ The Lord,
Surrender ALL your life to Him
& ‘seek Him’ in The Word!
He ‘sacrificed’ His Life for you *
when He died on Calvary,
It was His great Pleasure
to COME to ‘set you free’!
He is our great Helper *
in ‘good times’ & in ‘bad’,
But, when we continue to reject Him
He becomes very, very sad.
He ‘Intercedes’ in Prayer for you *
before the Throne of God,
Seeking your restoration to Him
as on this earth you plod.
And now may The Great Shepherd
guard & guide your way,
As He bids you to ‘hold’ to Him
as you start each new day.
May He produce in you *
all that ‘pleases’ Christ,
Through the ‘Power’ of The Spirit
that lives within your life.
Always living in you
as you ‘hold fast’ ~ today,
May God richly BLESS you
& keep you ~ this I pray.

ANOTHER NEW UPDATE 6/29/08 :)
I was able to transfer from kitchen chair with wheels to toilet Friday [27th]. Still need help transferring back to chair. Also how to figure out how get from wheelchair to toilet & back. Hopefully I can work on transferring to bed & back to chair/wheelchair next week! Blessings, Patsy
Hello Dear Ones:
Just wanted to update you & ask for your PRAYERS as I fell Sunday evening 4/13/08 [chair slid out from under me as I was trying to get on it]. Nothing seemed to be broken as I could move around, so didn't have the squad take me to the hospital, but later on that evening my left leg muscles knotted up & now I can't even pivot my leg around like I usually do or even put any pressure on it now. This is the same problem I was having, only now it is worse & the last time the Dr. couldn't see what was going on after all those x-rays/bone scans, so I didn't call him about it. Trying to see if it gets better on its own. Am sleeping in my motorized wheelchair which tilts back & leg swollen. I have not snapped back like usual & am very afraid of falling again this time. Blessings, Patsy
Update dated 5/14/08: NO bloodclots in either leg! :)
THE LORD RECALLED HIS PROMISES {GIVEN TO ALL OF US} [had received an EMAIL awhile back], & I RAN ACROSS IT AGAIN, SO I MADE THIS PAGE OF THEM: "GOD SAYS". Patsy
Doing some better, but still not able to do any more than stand up & let someone [either hubby, Jeff, or step-sister, Linda, who lives next door] put me on the potty chair or my motorized wheelchair or the kitchen chair I use. Still sleeping in the motorized wheelchair [it tilts back] & left leg still swollen a lot. The saddest part is my being incontinent & now not being able to even change my own diaper or get myself on the potty chair or toilet.
They finally have my lap tray ready, & bringing it out today [Fri. 5/2], so my Occupational Therapist is coming out this coming Mon. at 11 a.m. to see what is happening with me. She & my family Dr. suggested Physical Therapy, but that didn't work very well after my hip surgery since I don't believe hip healed right. Laying in bed those 4 days in the hospital with a blood clot, I think, caused it to start knitting back together wrong. Of course, C.P. & Fybromyalgia plus already being crippled didn't help any.
I am still scared of falling again, so that doesn't help, as the Cerebral Palsy [when I am nervous] makes me stiffen up & jerk my left leg or right arm [also right hand closes up so I can't grab ahold of anything] causing me to freeze up. And of course, there is old 'arthur' in my hips & back now making the C.P. seem worse.
Emotionally I am doing very well, except for the fear of falling hasn't left me this time. If someone helps me, I am able to do some laundry. They have to start the water [can't reach dials] & add/remove the the clothes from washer [top loader], but I can put into dryer [they have to set dryer dial, too] & then I can take out of dryer to hang on doorknob or fold into a basket. Can't do any dishes yet as I have to stand up to do that. My wheelchair feet get in the way at the kitchen sink & my arms aren't long enough to reach across that far away.
At least with the lap tray, I will be able to work the PC, as I can put the keyboard on it as well as the mouse & won't have to lean over so much, which hurts my left leg. Patsy 5/2/08
