"COULD 'SINNERS' LIVE IN HEAVEN?

Could a 'sinner' live in Heaven
no, they really couldn't,
For they'd not enjoy themselves
& 'give up sin'? ~ they wouldn't!
Only a 'sinner' ~ Saved by 'Grace'
Could look Jesus ~ in His Face,
For their hearts ~ now are 'pure'
And 'heaven' now ~ they can 'endure'!
'Darkness & Light' can't go together
as Light cancels darkness out,
So, Living 'together' in Heaven?
this I hardly doubt!
Why would they want to
is the question I ask,
For Heaven's a Place
where you don't wear a mask!
We can't hide our 'True' selves
like hear on Earth,
'Til we meet Christ
& have a 'new' Birth!
Then those 'masks'
we must take off,
Else people will make fun
& laugh & scoff!
"You are a hypocrite!"
they will say,
And your 'talk'
will turn folks away!
We must 'grow'
more in Love with Christ,
Then to Heaven we'll go
for the 'rest' of our ~ Life!
Tell me, friend
which are you?
A 'sinner' with a mask
or one that's TRUE!
Yes, we're ALL 'sinners'
but there IS a difference,
As The 'Blood' of Christ
makes THE difference!
Covering our sin
& 'darkness' & 'shame',
Revealing His Light
so we're nevermore the same.
Become a 'new' creature
full of 'Joy' & delight,
Then you'll want to live in Heaven
& 'walk' in The Light.
Not only 'there'
but 'here' & now,
Delighting in & Loving God
He'll show you how.
Begin with 'Praise' upon your lips
Go to the Altar, yes ~ 'many' trips.
For life is full of ups & downs
& isn't a bed of roses,
But our 'rewards' are great, my friend
so don't stick up your noses.
The 'Greatest' Treasure is in Heaven
awaiting our arrival,
But it takes our 'wanting' it
& to 'desire' ~ survival!
Peace within our Souls must reign~If it's
You we want to gain! Amen! 4/15/2003
