When the 'fire' heats up
& all is bleak,
Will you 'PRAISE' God
or give in to defeat?
I will 'Rejoice' *
& be full of Joy, *
'In the midst' of poverty
I'll stay in God's employ!
I'll love Him 'more'
& serve Him well,
Regardless of 'life'
or where I dwell!
In the 'heat' of battle
don't shake your fist,
Stay ' True' to God
& don't resist.
Surrender fully to CHRIST'S control
He'll fill your life & make you whole.
Worship the King of Kings 'right now'
While yet in the fire ~ just PRAISE Him ~ NOW!
It's 'easy' to Praise Him
when all is fine,
When no 'challenges' are around
& there's plenty of food to dine.
But, more precious to God
is the heart of Love,
From the one who'll 'Praise' Him
in the midst of ~ not enough.
So be sincere while in your distress
stand loyal & true & firm,
Then, when you do have great success
God will know you're not lukewarm!
For you Praised Him
while in the fire,
And let Him know
CHRIST is your ~ 'hearts desire'!
