" 'SPECIAL' MOTHERS!"

Sometimes there's 'Special' Mothers
who love us ~ anyway,
When we're dirty & grimy
even at the end of day!
She'll help us to get clean
'even behind the ears',
Wash our faces ~ brush our hair
or even wipe our tears!
Her children dearly love her
rebellious tho' they be,
"Hey, Mom ~ I'm too big now
to sit upon your knee!
Don't kiss me now, Mom
my 'friends' are all around,
Can't you see I'm busy now
& must get on to town?"
Yet, a 'Special' Mother understands
& takes it with a grain of salt,
Because she knows they love her
& sees them ~ without a fault!
She sees what they can become
if they LISTEN to direction,
So she showers them completely
with much 'love' & 'affection'!
'Discipline' must come
or they'll think she doesn't love them,
For 'letting' them run wild
will only 'disillusion' them!
They'll cringe with fear & doubt
not 'SECURE' at all,
"Well if Momma doesn't love me
I might slip & fall!
Fall into filthy habits
of drugs & crime & sex,
Going down the 'wrong' highway
caring NOT ~ 'what's next'!"
Yes, there are some kids I've seen
who know that they are loved,
Yet have CHOSEN that highway ~ ANYWAY
but ~HOPE~ stands strong above.
Above all else that 'Special' Mother
CONTINUES on to PRAY,
Never giving up on them
& saying: ~ "Perhaps TODAY!"
Perhaps TODAY will be the day
they'll turn their face toward GOD,
Start running in ~HIS~ direction
& face that chastening rod!
Realizing that CHRIST does Love them
else He wouldn't have come to die,
"Dear old Mom was r-i-g-h-t, of course
~ is she watching me from the Sky?
I hope she can see me now
& knows I'm coming to Heaven, too,
I can't wait to see ya Mom
~ & I'll meet JESUS, too!"
What a Day of 'Rejoicing'
grand Trumpets & Harps a playing,
When we'll see those 'Special' Mothers
who spent their time ~ PRAYING!

Now isn't this cute! Baby's 'first' steps! Thanks,
KAREN POWER {a S.I.N.G. Sister also}.
This reminds me of 'baby' Christians who are
trying to take their 'first steps' in their WALK
with JESUS! Oh how we fell down so many
times & JESUS came & picked us up & sent
'others' to us to help us & give us the sincere
'MILK' of His WORD! Now we could have
'stayed down & given up' when we fell, but
with 'encouragement' from friends {are you an
encourager?} we got back up. Over & over we
fell, but GOD, in His 'great Wisdom' &
knowing that we loved Him, always came to
our RESCUE~& STILL DOES, I MIGHT ADD!
'TESTED & TRIED' THROUGH THE FIRE
~ OF TRIALS & TRIBULATIONS ~
WILL YOU CONTINUE TO 'STAND' WITH
The 'MASTER'? I 'PRAY' YOU DO, FOR
THERE IS NO OTHER AS 'TRUE' AS CHRIST!
