Here's hoping we're 'together'
as long as life itself,
Whether we are poor
or have lots of wealth.
Whether we are healthy
or even when we're sick,
Staying in love 'together'
is a pretty neat trick.
It takes lots of PRAYERS
& 'LOVE' & 'DEVOTION',
To make a marriage last
as deep as the ocean.
Determined to stay 'together'
& make our marriage work,
Will take 'both' of us
not acting like jerks.
Asking for 'forgiveness'
when one of us offends,
Being 'willing' to forgive
& to make amends!
Darling, I Love you
& pray for us to stay,
'Together' till JESUS comes
or takes us both away!
It may be in the morning
or it may be at noon,
But, till then we'll be 'together'
& 'together' we'll croon!
